The Albemarle County Fair is scheduled from Thursday, July 27 through Saturday, July 29 on the grounds of Highland. Tickets are $5 per person and free for children under 6 years of age.
The Eastern Virginia Writing Project Summer Institute is a professional development opportunity to train teachers on the sustained efforts to improve writing and learning for all learners. Teachers will learn how to teach writing in their classrooms.
At the Writing Resources Center, trained peer consultants offer individual assistance with writing, presentation, and other communication assignments across disciplines and at any stage, from generating ideas to polishing a final product.
