The Eastern Virginia Writing Project Summer Institute is a professional development opportunity to train teachers on the sustained efforts to improve writing and learning for all learners. Teachers will learn how to teach writing in their classrooms.

On Tuesday, July 4th, Highland will host the Heifetz International Music Institute for a free concert from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. A classically-inspired ensemble from Heifetz will bring a uniquely innovative and expressive concert that will appeal to all ages.

The 2023 Mandela Washington Fellows start their six-week program through Presidential Precinct at William & Mary.
At the Writing Resources Center, trained peer consultants offer individual assistance with writing, presentation, and other communication assignments across disciplines and at any stage, from generating ideas to polishing a final product.
