Claire Guthrie Gastanaga, legislative counsel of Equality Virginia, will be speaking at the William and Mary School of Law at 12:50 p.m. on the topic "GLBT Rights and Protections: The State of the Law in Virginia."

The Virginia State Bar Corporate Counsel section will present a panel of in-house attorneys who will discuss their work in-house and their career paths. Lunch will be provided. Please RSVP through Symplicity.

Prof. Erin Ryan will present the history leading up to litigation over the efforts of Los Angeles to secure water from a lake basin near Yosemite National Park, and will point out where more productive negotiation might have resolved the conflict sooner.
