Law Revue's Fall Shows will be in the lobby on November 12th (7pm) and 13th (3pm). We will be performing "The Complete Works of William Shakespeare, Abridged"- a humorous take on Shakespeare- and two original works by 3L Nick Medved! 

W&M BLSA Thanksgiving Basket Competition is here! The displays will be open to all. Come and see the entries as the 1L sections vie for the top spot. Judging will begin at 12:50pm on November 16, and the winner will be announced by 1:30pm. See you there!

Join the Law School's Comparative Legal Student Scholars for a talk by Mark Grubb on  "Building a Career in International Development."

Join us for a discussion of the issue of child poverty, from the pages of Dickens' "A Christmas Carol" to modern advocacy efforts and strategies. Lunch will be served. This event is in conjunction with a toy/book drive sponsored by CALS.

The International Law Society will host guest speaker Dr. Vadim Volkov of the European University of St. Petersburg, who will present a lecture titled "Sentencing Disparities in Russia's Criminal Justice System: The Analysis of Large Datasets." 

On Wednesday, November 16th, at 5:00 PM, Casey Schmitt will present "Bound among Nations: Labor Coercion in the Early Seventeenth-Century Caribbean" at the William & Mary Legal History Seminar.  RSVP requested.

On 11/19, Law Revue has auditions for MMRP! "A Memory, a Monologue, a Rant and a Prayer" (MMRP) is a series of monologues raising awareness about violence against women, and a fundraiser for the domestic violence shelter in Williamsburg. More information.
