The Schroeder Center for Health Policy invites William & Mary undergraduate and graduate students to apply for its ?Health Policy Award for Student Scholarship.? Applicants will write a policy briefing memo (between 500 and 750 words) to a U.S. Senator on a health policy topic of their choosing. All memos must be original work, but may be informed by an assignment for a current or past course.  Policy memos will be evaluated on the following:  1) clarity of the description of the selected policy issue; 2)  ability to accurately and thoroughly research and analyze the issue; 3) ability to make informed, critical decisions; and 4) quality of writing.

The author of the winning health policy memo will receive $50 as an award. The deadline for submission is Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at 5:00 p.m.
