[PAST EVENT] MedServe Information Session
Do you want to understand how to combine a career in medicine with public or community service? Would you like to see what it’s like to be a part of a medical team committed to community improvement?
MedServe is a post-college community service fellowship in rural and other underserved health communities located across North Carolina. We have placed over 70 fellows with clinics that have gone above and beyond to provide innovative models and extensive service to their communities and are often operating in low-resource settings; your fellowship with them will give you a front-row seat to the best of primary care medicine.
MedServe Fellows undergo a rigorous two-week Training Institute to prepare for their roles. In addition, we host quarterly skill summits across the state to expose Fellows to key medical concepts and helps them prepare for the next stages of their medical education.
A MedServe representative will highlight the program and application process, and take your questions.
