[PAST EVENT] Virtual Days in DC - Public Service Internships, A Student Panel
LocationVirtual/Online: See Event for Login Details
This session will be held virtually via Zoom
Internships have become a key experience that employers look for when hiring new graduates. Through an internship, you begin to practice and apply a variety of skills in a professional work environment such as problem-solving, critical thinking, communication, professionalism, and conflict resolution, among others. You also develop a new perspective about your career and where you want to go. In this virtual panel discussion, current W&M students will discuss the internship search, interview process, lessons learned, and share how their internship experiences impacted their academic and career development in Public Service. Time will be given for the audience members to ask questions and network with the panelists. RSVP in TribeCareers today!
