Hailed by the New York Concert Review as "a wonderful pianist", and one with "tender regard for the music, a captivating inwardness" by Fanfare Magazine, Liana Paniyeva has won prizes in numerous competitions internationally and has performed at festivals in Norway, Hungary, Austria, Canada, England, Italy, Syria, South Africa, and Israel. Her recitals have taken her to Carnegie Hall, Worcester's Mechanics Hall, the Myra Hess Concert Series in Chicago, to note highlights.

Ms. Paniyeva has been a prizewinner in numerous international competitions: The "Iowa International Piano Competition in 2015", " The George Gershwin International Competition in 2019", Grand Prize at the "Metropolitan International Piano Competition", "International Piano Competition in Memory of E. Gilels" in Odessa, “Music World” in Italy, awarded the Cargill Foundation Prize in the 2014 Scottish International Piano Competition in Glasgow, a prize in memory of Bracha Eden for most impressive performance during " The Voice of Music Competition in Jerusalem".

Liana has been featured in various broadcasts and recordings. Her solo recital in 2016 at the Myra Hess Concert Series in Chicago was broadcast live on WFMT Radio. Reviewing her recording, Huntley Dent of Fanfare Magazine praised her version of Mussorgsky's Pictures at an exhibition as " Paniyeva’s reading outshines many others in the catalog, including those by famous names."


Liana is a winner of the American Prize 2021.

Paniyeva is a graduate of the Donetsk Music Academy in Ukraine, she earned her Professional Studies Diploma from the Manhattan School of Music and an Artist Diploma from The Hartt School of the University of Hartford.

Ms. Paniyeva is a founder and artistic director of the Young Stars International Piano Competition.

In 2022, Ms. Paniyeva was granted the Extraordinary Abilities in the Arts permanent US residence, given only to artists who attained the highest level in their field.
