Raise your voice for clean water!
The Chesapeake Bay Foundation's Bay Advocacy Institute trains college students to be knowledgeable and active community members so they can advocate for clean water and engage their communities and representatives.
William & Mary students are invited to join the Bay Advocacy Institute in partnership with W&M Civic & Community Engagement to participate in advocacy training and workshopping, along with time to socialize and network.
Advocacy topics will include:
Introduction to the Chesapeake Bay and advocacy,
Virginia state-level issues and advocacy, and
Oyster restoration in the Chesapeake.
The Bay Advocacy Institute also includes the opportunity to become a Certified Chesapeake Bay Advocate, network with CBF staff and other students, and participate in events and outdoor trips.
Lunch, snacks, swag, and more all provided!
