Bio of Will Smith
Will Smith graduated from William & Mary in 2014 with degrees in Government and French. He was a two-year captain of the varsity men's soccer team, and became a member of Phi Beta Kappa in his senior year. As a student at W&M, Will focused on post-conflict democratic consolidation in West Africa, conducting his honors thesis research in Monrovia, Liberia, under the tutelage of Professor Phil Roessler. His thesis, which examined the impact of solar lights on the welfare and productivity of Liberian fishermen, won the W. Warner Moss award for the best thesis in the government department.
