Title: A Mis-Spent Career? 39 Years Practicing Optimization

Abstract: Phil Warrick spent a 39-year career with a major global energy company, primarily involved in the logistical operations and supporting technology of the business. He finished his career as the Chief of Optimization Technology. His discussion will recount experiences that illuminate lessons he learned and conclusions he reached in the practical implementation of operations research methods.
