Title:
Program Analysis and Testing for Reliable Android and Wear Apps
Abstract:
Due to the widespread use of Android devices and apps, it is important to develop tools and techniques to improve app quality and performance. However, traditional program analyses cannot be used directly for Android apps because of their unique characteristics. In this talk, I will discuss program analysis specific for control-flow modeling and testing of software for regular Android and Android Wear. I will introduce effective hybrid techniques with static control-/data-flow analysis, automated test generation and runtime monitoring for detection of resource leaks in apps.
