The VIMS Diversity and Inclusion Steering Committee will be hosting an ?Allyship Workshop.?

This workshop is an examination of our own identities and ways of being and how they impact the world around us. Participants will have the opportunity to explore their own value lens and how they apply those values to other people in ways that might create biases. The course serves as a social justice framework and provides participants with the opportunity to develop the skill sets necessary to engage in a courage intervention to make campus a safer and more welcoming place for people of all backgrounds, experiences, and identities. 

This workshop will be led by Roxie Patton - Associate Director, Center for Student Diversity, William & Mary. 

This is a brown-bag event, please bring your own lunch.
