Dr. Parris, Associate Dean and Director of Diversity & Inclusion and Associate Professor, will provide training on effective affinity group development, process, and facilitation. Considerations - such as creating safe spaces, the role of ally support, and promoting well-being - will be discussed. Resources for identity-specific affinity groups will be provided and examined as part of the workshop.
