Dr. Parris, Associate Dean and Director of Diversity & Inclusion and Associate Professor, will provide training on cultural ruptures that commonly occur in classrooms. Strategies for preventing and disrupting these ruptures will be provided, as well as formats for acknowledging and apologizing when ruptures occur. Personal goal setting and practice will be included.
