Do you ever wonder who owns your scholarly publications, or who should own them? Have you been confused by all of the fine print in your publications agreements? Should you be worried about getting a takedown notice for sharing your own scholarship? Do you have questions about where you should publish? This session will help graduate students understand their copyrights and how to protect them. We'll discuss the basics of publication agreements and how to negotiate with publishers to keep your copyrights - presented by Kathleen DeLaurenti, Scholarly Communications Librarian.

(The Graduate Student Commons is located on the second floor of Swem Library across from the Center for Geospatial Analysis.)
