Global Research Institute

Location

The William & Mary Global Scholars Program is a year-long cohort program for future leaders. GSP offers students a unique, cohort-based experiential learning opportunity that cultivates creative thinkers, principled decision makers, and compassionate global citizens and prepares them to become leaders in global policy and research roles in government, non-profit, and private sectors. GSP students take exclusive coursework, take exciting field trips to Washington D.C., study abroad, and complete a summer internship. Each student is assigned two alumni mentors to connect with throughout the year. 

The 2024-2025 GSP offers two distinct cohorts: the Global Policy cohort and the U.S.-China Strategic Competition cohort. Students will choose one of the cohorts when applying.
