An introduction to the basic phonetic, grammar, and writing systems. Emphasis on listening and speaking.
Business Chinese for Intermediate Learners: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 6:00 - 7:30pm, September 18 - October 11
Learn how to communicate in business settings. Business culture is an important part of this course.
Workshop on Chinese Calligraphy: Wednesdays, 4:30 - 6:00pm, September 19 - October 10
Learn how to write Chinese characters with brushes. Notions of Chinese art will be introduced.
Workshop on Chinese Paper-Cutting: Mondays, 4:30 - 6:00, September 17 - October 8
A hands-on experience with paper-cutting, one of the most popular Chinese folk arts, with an introduction to Chinese symbolism.
All courses take place at the William & Mary Confucius Institute, Rowe House, Jamestown Road.
