ABOUT THE PROGRAM
The 2019 W&M Silent Film Showcase features five classic silent film selections, all accompanied by live musical performances from members of the W&M community. This program will feature:
- Pandora?s Box (1929) & Metropolis (1927) with live accompaniment from the W&M Wind Ensemble directed by Richard Marcus.
- Selections from The Plastic Age (1925) with live accompaniment from DJ Brian Kelley ?07.
- Princess Nicotine (1909) with live accompaniment written and performed by members of the W&M Composer?s League.
- The Cameraman?s Revenge (1912) with live accompaniment from the W&M Russian Music Ensemble.

ABOUT THE GLOBAL FILM FESTIVAL
The 12th Annual William & Mary Global Film Festival will take place Jan. 31 - Feb. 3, 2019 with four days of films, special guests, workshops, and receptions. The festival will feature a diverse program of films and live events showcasing the work of international filmmakers, William & Mary faculty, and emerging student talent from around the globe.
