Laura Gentile Harwig '06 leads donor-funded programs designed to leverage agricultural solutions to end hunger and poverty. Currently, Laura is Program Director of the Feed the Future Partnering for Innovation program where she catalyzes the expansion of private sector companies and entrepreneurs into rural, agricultural markets in Africa, Asia, and Latin America. After graduating from William & Mary with degrees in International Relations and Economics, Laura began working with for-profit companies and nonprofit organizations whose missions were to increase incomes and improve the health, nutrition, and food security of the world's poorest communities. She has lived and worked on four continents and currently resides in Washington, D.C.
