[PAST EVENT] Meeting: Intern Positions for the AidData Undergraduate Research Program
September 11, 2012
7pm
Are you interested in:
* International Development issues?
* Gaining valuable research experience with W&M professors?
* Doing work that makes an impact on reducing poverty?
Apply to be a research intern with AidData. In collaboration with BYU and Development Gateway, William & Mary student researchers at AidData power the largest-ever open database on project-level development finance, frequently searched by researchers, policymakers, and everyday citizens to track foreign aid around the globe.
We are currently seeking W&M undergraduates, with 3.0 GPAs in any major, to join our research team for five hours/week. After a year of coding development projects and training in data collection methodologies as an Intern, you will have the opportunity to become a paid Research Assistant, engaging in hands-on research, database management, public relations, and blogging.
An intern interest meeting will be held next week on Tuesday, September 11th in Blow 331 at 7 p.m. The application deadline is Wednesday, September 19th.
Send your applications (and your resume) to Doug Nicholson at dnicholson@aiddata.org
