Access & Features
Join the Cohen Career Center for A Day in D.C., where we will participate in a series of site visits to the workplaces of W&M alumni who are working at federal agencies, think tanks, and nonprofit organizations.
For the upcoming trip, we will visit the Brookings Institution, the Public International Law & Policy Group (PILPG), and the Department of State.
After the visit to Brookings, we will travel to PILPG, which is a nonprofit organization, operating as a global pro bono law firm providing free legal assistance to developing states and sub-state entities involved in conflicts.
This experience is a remarkable networking opportunity. During our visit, we will learn from industry leaders about their career pathways and explore opportunities in their fields. PILPG staff will also discuss internship programs and several of their pro bono opportunities for students and recent grads.
You can choose to attend one, two, or all three of the site visits listed above, but you must register for the site visit(s) you will attend in TribeCareers. We need to have a record of your registration for you to be able to participate.
There is no registration fee for this event. The registration deadline is January 3, 2020, but space is limited, so don't delay!
