The annual Brigham-Kanner Property Rights Conference is presented by the William & Mary Property Rights Project and is named in recognition of Toby Prince Brigham and Gideon Kanner for their lifetime contributions to private property rights.

This year, there are in-person and virtual attendance options.

9/17 update: In lieu of an awards dinner, the Conference will host a virtual awards reception on Thursday, September 30. During the reception, Professor Vicki Been will be honored with the 2021 Brigham-Kanner Property Rights Prize.


The conference panels will be held at William & Mary Law School from 8:30 a.m. - 4:15 p.m. on Friday, October 1, 2021. The Conference has traditionally been approved for 4 - 6 CLE credits in Virginia.
