With the recent decision coming from the Supreme Court not to block Texas' SB-8 Bill, many of us have questions about the future of Roe v. Wade. This panel--presented by The Center for Racial and Social Justice, If/When/How, and Women's Law Society-- will discuss the history behind the right to an abortion as well as what the future holds for the landmark case Roe and a Woman's Right to Choose.

The panel will include insights from Mary Ziegler (author of "Abortion and the Law in America: Roe v. Wade to the Present" and legal professor at Florida State University School of Law), Rachel Becker (Policy & Communications Advisor for the Secretary of Health and Human Resources for the Office of Governor Ralph Northam), Gail Deady (Staff Attorney in U.S. Litigation at the Center for Reproductive Rights), & Ndome Essoka (Center for Reproductive Rights Fellow & Incoming Equal Justice Works Fellow). The panel will discuss many of the pressing questions that are currently left unanswered in the wake of the Supreme Court Decision as well as the future implications these recent developments have.
