This year William & Mary's Black Law Student Association will be hosting a speaker series where we will showcase accomplished Black lawyers within the various sectors of the legal world. We aim to ensure that students have exposure to diverse perspectives from every level of legal practice. For our first speaker series, we highlighted small firm and solo practitioners. For our second speaker series, we will feature talented Black lawyers working for Big Law firms or as in-house corporate attorneys. The program's format will be a virtual panel style with a list of questions followed by an interactive Q&A. Overall, the purpose of the program is to illuminate our members and students through the panelist's respective experiences and advice to succeed in Corporate law. The event will take place Monday, November 1, at 6 PM.
