"Ambition is a spark. It sets off every entrepreneurial fuse, every idea."
Get ready to light your fuses and enter the 2013 W&M Business Plan Competition! The Mason School of Business and Entrepreneurship Center are proud to sponsor this competition to "fuel the ambition of the budding entrepreneur." The William and Mary Business Competition's main purpose is to make a fun and educational experience for would-be entrepreneurs, while simulating the real-world process of obtaining funds from angel investors and venture capitalists.
Students will compete for cash prizes over $1,500 to put towards the start of their successful business venture!
This competition is open to all students of the College of William & Mary. We encourage teams of students from different majors, departments and levels of study (graduate and undergraduate) to participate. Teams can be made up of 1 to 4 individuals and all business ventures must be for-profit entities.
The competition format includes 3 rounds, with chosen teams advancing in each round. The finalist teams will submit a written business plan proposal and present their business plans to a panel of judges.
Round I: Executive Summary. Submit electronically by April 4, 2013, 11:59 pm.
