[PAST EVENT] Backpacking in Shenandoah National Park
November 14, 2015 - November 15, 2015
Take a chance and head out into the woods with TAP as we take you through the woods and up mountains on a relaxing backpacking trip. Head out Saturday, camp overnight, and take off into the woods the following morning carrying everything you'll need for the next day and a half on your back. You may experience glorious waterfalls, high meadows, rugged mountaintops, or even abandoned communities. Trail/route is yet to be determined. All levels, beginner to advanced, are welcome, but please be able to carry 40-50 lbs on your back and walk long distances.
We will be departing the morning of Saturday, November 14th and returning to campus the evening of Sunday, November 15th.
Participants MUST register in advance at the Student Recreation Center front desk or online at {{http://campusrec.wm.edu}}.
TRIP REGISTRATION ENDS NOVEMBER 4TH
COST of this trip for students is $20
