Join us for a tour of VIMS! During this 2-hour guided tour you will receive an overview of VIMS, a guided tour of our Visitors Center, and you will visit two of our research laboratories where you will talk with our scientists. On July 23, we will be visiting the Coastal Geology lab and the Center Coastal Resources Management. While at CCRM you will hear about VIMS' research on derelict crab pots, their impact on crab populations and the fishing industry, and solutions VIMS has developed to help with the issue. In the Coastal Geology lab you'll learn about VIMS' research on our ever-changing shorelines and barrier islands.

Tours of VIMS are designed for adults. Children must be at least 9 years old to attend. Space is limited and registration must be completed at least two days in advance.

Registration for this event is closed. Please join us for one of our other public tours this summer.
