Shell-abrate life’s great moments with a glass of wine and a plate of oysters, while enjoying a beautiful fall day at the Yorktown Wine and Oyster Festival!

Along with this grand tasting of oysters and wines from Virginia and beyond, you can enjoy live music, delicious food from local restaurants, and the work of talented artisans. The Batten School & VIMS will be hosting an oyster-themed educational exhibit where we will share information about our historically critical role in supporting Virginia's shellfish industries, genetics and breeding programs, research into diseases and environmental issues affecting oysters now and in the future, family-friendly activities, preserved animals, and more!

This is a closed-ticketed only event. Proceeds from the event will benefit York Foundation for Public Education, Sister Cities Yorktown, and other local nonprofits.
