Join educators from the VIMS Marine Advisory Program and Chesapeake Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve in Virginia (CBNERR-VA) for the 8th annual Virginia Scientists & Educators Alliance (VA SEA) Spring Lesson Plan Expo!

This year's cohort of graduate student authors will be providing live demos of the K-12 lesson plans they've developed based on their research at the Batten School & VIMS. There will be free pizza and beverages, raffles, stickers, and plenty of opportunities for networking and resource sharing!

The Virginia Scientists & Educators Alliance (VA SEA) is a network of graduate students, teachers, and informal educators created with the intention of translating real-world scientific research into high-quality lesson plans. This year's cohort will be introducing 9 brand new classroom activities bringing our collection to over 80 lesson plans!
