Organized by the Marine Advisory Program at the Virginia Institute of Marine Science (VIMS) in partnership with the Virginia Charter Boat Association (VCBA), the workshop will highlight charter business management, marketing strategies, maritime legal issues, and fishery resource updates.

Workshop speakers will be regional professionals in their respective fields. Participants can look forward to a fisheries keynote address from Robert Beal, Executive Director of the Atlantic States Marine Fisheries Commission, in addition to talks from the U.S. Coast Guard and legal and marketing experts.

The program is committed to helping the charter boat operator address current topics and challenges in small business management.

Attendance is expected to fill quickly, so advanced registration is strongly encouraged.
