Vasisthasana or Side Plank Pose is an arm balance as well as an alternative to common core strengthening.
This arm balance engages muscles from your hands to your toes. Side Plank Pose opens you up to a new
view. Think Tadasan,a or Mountain Pose, on your side. This class will be led by Shanti Garudasana Yoga School's 300-hour Yoga Teachers-in-Training. These teachers already have their 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) credential and have teaching experience. Class open to all experience levels. Free for all W&M students, faculty & staff.
