The origins of the Colombian drug trade, as seen through eyes of an indigenous Wayuu family that becomes involved in the booming business of selling marijuana to American youth in the 1970s. When greed, passion and honor collide, a fratricidal war breaks out and puts their lives, culture and ancestral traditions at stake.

ABOUT THE GLOBAL FILM FESTIVAL
The 12th Annual William & Mary Global Film Festival will take place Jan. 31 - Feb. 3, 2019 with four days of films, special guests, workshops, and receptions. The festival will feature a diverse program of films and live events showcasing the work of international filmmakers, William & Mary faculty, and emerging student talent from around the globe.
