The Green New Deal is coming to Williamsburg! The Williamsburg Sunrise Movement Hub is thrilled to be organizing a Town Hall for a Green New Deal on Monday, April 22nd, at 6:30PM at the Wesley Foundation House. At the Town Hall, community members and students from across the area will come together to share stories about how the crises of climate change and inequality are threatening the place we call home, and discuss how the Green New Deal would protect coastal Virginia from the worsening impacts of climate change while boosting our economy.
