The week of January 18, the Cohen Career Center will be offering virtual Career Chats with alumni and parents of William & Mary students. These will be one hour sessions with the professional speaking for about 30 minutes and then about 30 minutes of Q&A.

Robin has been working as a software engineer in the embedded and networking industry for over 28+ years in San Jose's Silicon Valley, Ca. He is currently working at Broadcom Inc. as a software Technical Lead and Engineering Escalation Manager for the Storage Area Networking division. The Brocade storage networking division of Broadcom Inc., is building the latest generation of SAN switches for many of the Top Fortune 500 companies for their mission critical applications from stock trades, data storage for customer data, real-time data analysis, ....etc. Before Broadcom Inc., he had been working in many companies including startups, as well as small and medium size companies in the area. He is glad to have the chance to share his past experience with our W&M students, and at the same time help them to get a little exposure on the life of being in the software industry, expectations and cultures in this area. He will also share and answer questions in the area of software development tools, platforms, procedures, customer applications, releases process as long as all topics are within his company’s confidentiality policy.
