Impact Week is a week-long competition in which 3 student organizations compete for over $5,000 in funding to help support their proposed service project in the Williamsburg area. This year Kappa Sigma, Greater City, and InterVarsity will be competing and partnering with the Williamsburg House of Mercy, 3e restoration/the Pineapple Inn, and 3e restoration respectively.
The organizations and Students for University Advancement will be tabling and collecting donations all week Monday at Sadler from 12-2, Tuesday at Sadler from 11-1, Wednesday at Sadler from 10-1, Thursday at Swem from 1-3, and Friday at Swem from 12-2. Students can vote for the project of their choice by making a $5 donation to any area on campus. On Friday, votes will be tallied and the first place org will receive $2500 in funding, second place $1500, and third place $1000 to complete their service project.
