In this very timely and special presentation we will learn how NASA's new initiative "Participatory Exploration" can be integrated into the museum experience of the future. This presentation will discuss how virtual objects can be used within the context of a museum exhibit, and how virtual on-line museums, in which you can tour museums, and view & interact with selected artifacts, will provide expanded access and learning opportunities. Mr. Antol will explore with you the newest, most exciting technologies to experience museums as you would expect would happen in the future, but also what is possible today. This lecture is free and open to the public, hosted by the Virginia Docent Exchange.
