Students wishing to continue their study of Italian at William and Mary must take the placement test before the start of the Spring semester 2013. The exam is for students that have studied Italian at a different institution or in high school, and have not yet taken any courses through the Italian Studies section at William & Mary. Students returning from a program abroad in which they continued their study of Italian should also take the placement exam in January.

In order to be placed in the proper level for the spring semester, the students that fall into any category mentioned above should take the placement exam that will be offered on Tuesday, January 15th from 11 am to 12 pm in Washington Hall rm. 312.

All exams will be graded that day and the results will be communicated to all students so that they may register for the proper course.

If you plan to take the placement exam in the spring or if you have any questions about the placement exam, please contact [[kcboyle, Prof. Katie Boyle]].
