Diego Lucci, Associate Professor of History and Philosophy at the American University in Bulgaria, will deliver a lecture titled "The Enlightenment and the Jews: Between State-Making and Emancipation." The lecture will take place on Monday, January 28, at 3:30. The location will be James Blair Hall 229. Please bring students, especially if you are teaching them anything about European history/studies, state-building or ethnic conflict/pluralism. In fact anyone interested in "sameness" and "difference" should get something out of Diego's talk.
