All students considering a Chinese major are strongly encouraged to attend the 2013 Chinese Majors Forum, which will take place this Friday, April 19, in Tyler 102. The forum features a guest lecture by a China studies scholar from another university (this year's speaker is Miranda Brown from the University of Michigan), as well as student research paper presentations by this year's graduating Chinese majors. This is one of the most important Chinese program events of the year, and it is the culminating event for Chinese 428, the advanced seminar in Chinese studies that is required for all Chinese majors.

Please find the speaker's bio and full schedule below. The event is open to everyone, including faculty, students, family, and friends. Please come and support your classmates and the Chinese program, and learn about the fascinating research being done by students in the Chinese program. If you have any questions, feel free to contact Professor Wilcox.
