The Virginia Aquarium & Marine Science Center is celebrating shark week from July 9-15! Each day, the aquarium will be open from 9 AM - 6 PM, hosting a variety of fun, family-friendly activities including trivia, "fingo," talks focused on sharks and shark research, photo ops with the aquarium sharks, pop-up programs, keeper talks, and lots more! VIMS will be joining on select days throughout the week, providing a display focused on the VIMS Shark Survey (celebrating its 50th anniversary next year in 2024) as well as highlighting the species found locally in Bay waters as well as along the coast through a variety of preserved specimens, jaws, and informational posters. All activities are included with aquarium admission!
