The John Quincy Adams Society is back at W&M! JQAS is a foreign policy society that promotes a strategic conversation about America's approach to world affairs. JQAS hosts weekly meets and speaker events to discuss foreign policy events, and offers professional opportunities too!
Meet us at the Club Fair on Aug 28, or at our interest meet on September 11 8-9PM at Chancellors 114. Our regular recurring meets are on Mondays 8-9PM at Chancellors 114. Follow us on Insta and Tribelink too!
Our organization offers:
- Experiential: information and opportunities on internships, externships, workshops and more at our affiliated institutions (includes NGOs, newspapers, think-tanks, companies, and government).
- Extracurricular: involvement in our 'Recommended Reads' IR Book Club and our "Realist Review" IR Student-led Publication.
- Academic: college advice on classes to take, credits to fulfill, or majors to consider.
- Informational: conversations and talks about events in the world each week at our meets!
- Network: our chapter invites IR scholars to speak at events, and our chapter coordinator can get you in touch with IR scholars.
