William & Mary Law's Human Security Law Center is presenting a documentary and discussion by a panel of experts on the Guantanamo Bay military triibunals. The panel will consist of three panelists from outside the Law School. The first will be Sig Libowitz, a DC-based lawyer from Venable LLP who produced the 30-minute docudrama entitled {{http://www.theresponsemovie.com/, The Response}}. The script of the movie is based off of real transcripts from trials involving Guantanamo detainees. HSLC is screening this documentary prior to the panel discussion. The other two panelists are Charles Dunlap, the former deputy judge advocate general for the US Air Force, and Francis Gilligan, the Director of Training for the Military Commissions' prosecutors. All three panelists are very distinguished attorneys in their field and have extensive knowledge and experience with the issues we will be discussing.
