Graduate students, faculty, administrators, and staff interested in learning more about data management issues and best practices are invited to participate in a Data Management Bootcamp sponsored by seven Virginia institutions. This free collaborative event will feature experts from across the state and will provide opportunities for local, hands-on practical experience. The event will take place on March 9 (9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.) and 10 (9:00 a.m-1:00 p.m.) in the Ford classroom in Swem Library.

Topics will include: Finding and Reusing Data, Documentation and Metadata, Data Management Plans, Rights and Access, and more. A detailed agenda will be forthcoming.

The Data Management Bootcamp is a collaborative initiative of the College of William & Mary, Old Dominion University, Virginia Commonwealth University, Virginia Tech, George Mason University, James Madison University, and the University of Virginia.
