[PAST EVENT] The Private World of Soviet Scientists from Stalin to Gorbachev
Maria Rogacheva is a Visiting Assistant Professor of Global Studies at William & Mary. She received her Ph.D. from the University of Notre Dame in 2013. Before coming to William & Mary she was a Visiting Assistant Professor at Beloit College, a Fellow at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and a Postdoctoral Fellow at Notre Dame. Her research and teaching interests center on the cultural and intellectual history of twentieth-century Russia and modern Europe, with a special focus on post-Stalinist Russia. Her dissertation won the Tucker?Cohen Dissertation Prize. Her book, The Private World of Soviet Scientists from Stalin to Gorbachev, is forthcoming with Cambridge University Press in August 2017.
