Bradley Simpson is Assistant Professor of History and International Affairs at Princeton University. He is the author of "Economists with Guns: Authoritarian Development and U.S.-Indonesian Relations" (Stanford 2008) and directs the Indonesia and East Timor Documentation Project at the NSA. He is currently at work on "Dictatorship and Disorder: The U.S., the International Community, and Indonesia's New Order" (Cornell, forthcoming).
