Please join us for Dr. Faedah M. Totah?s talk, ?Preserving the Old City of Damascus?: Politics, Capital, and Urban Historic Sites.? She will discuss preservation and the city of Damascus before the war in Syria and today.
Dr. Totah has a Ph.D. in sociocultural anthropology from The University of Texas in Austin and is associate professor in the School of World Studies at Virginia Commonwealth University.
