[PAST EVENT] Campus Park Rx Day

The following events are open to the entire campus community:

10-11am -- Join us for a nature walk led by our very own Professor Dan Cristol. Meet outside the Keck Lab behind the Botetourt Complex to learn more about biodiversity on campus. 

11:15-11:45am -- Come for a tour of the ISC Greenhouse led by members of the William & Mary Botany Club!

2-3pm -- Dr. Robert Zarr, "physician champion" of Park Rx America and board-certified pediatrician at Unity Health Care in Washington D.C., will be lecturing in Chesapeake C in the Sadler Center. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn more about the Park Rx Program, part of a national movement toward recognizing the importance of time spent outdoors on mental and physical health.

3-3:30pm -- After the lecture, there will be a coffee reception from 3-3:30 p.m. for students to engage in conversation with Dr. Zarr.

Then, join us outside of Swem Library from 3:30-4:30pm as we prescribe parks and share more information about the Parks Research Lab at W&M!
