Professor Wendy Hui Kyong Chun is the Canada 150 Research Chair in New Media at Simon Fraser University.

She combines a background in Systems Design Engineering and English Literature to inform her work on contemporary digital media.

Her most recent book is Updating to Remain the Same: Habitual New Media (MIT, 2016).

She will be the keynote speaker at the Digital Humanities Symposium.
