Join us for the fourth annual Student Diversity & Inclusion Symposium. This year's topic is Embracing Diversity, Fostering Inclusion: Nurturing Holistic Success in Higher Education. Registration is required by 5pm on February 17. Space is limited.

I will discuss our work on elucidating the biosynthetic pathway that transforms glutamate to AMB via the action of two nonribosomal peptide synthetases, which are multidomain protein machineries used by microbes to make numerous natural products. 

This class is designed for those who have a good understanding of yoga poses and the relationship between breath and movement. Vinyasa flow focuses on linking traditional postures to the breath to build internal heat.

The purpose of this weekly, free counseling group is to provide a safe space for Asian students to explore issues of mental health as it intersects with racial/ethnic identity, while fostering community, empowerment, & resilience. 

2024 Catron Scholars Exhibition

The Hart Gallery's exhibition "Figuring Out" will be opening Tuesday, 2/13 with a reception 6-8 pm. This exhibition presents artworks by W&M students, focused on the human figure. The show will run through 3/8, open during Sadler building hours.

Twenty-five works by English collage artist Clive Knights will be on view in the Daily Grind from February 9 through May 18. 

Let's read and discuss the book Trauma-Informed Pedagogies: A Guide for Responding to Crisis and Inequality in Higher Education. We will meet on Tuesdays in February (2/6, 2/13, 2/20, and 2/27) from 12:30 to 1:30 pm. 

At the Writing and Communication Center, trained peer consultants offer individual assistance with writing, presentation, and other communication assignments across disciplines and at any stage, from generating ideas to polishing a final product. 

This group is for any W&M student who wishes to learn physical self-defense techniques from a licensed SASS Go instructor, as well as learn about the emotional benefits feelings of safety provide.
